Dr. Fryberg graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in zoology. Following college, he relocated to California to pursue a dental education and surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. California. He then completed four years of oral and maxillofacial surgical residency training at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno, in Fresno. California.
Dr. Fryberg has a passion for orofacial reconstruction and dental implants. He gained extensive experience treating head and neck cancer patients as a resident. He fully understands the drastic improvement in quality of life that functional dentition and an aesthetic smile can provide. He has received specialized surgical and implant prosthetic training in the placement of zygomatic and pterygoid implants and has completed many simple and complex full-arch dental implant reconstruction cases.
Dr. Fryberg is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association® and the Arizona Dental Association. He regularly attends seminars, national meetings and conferences for continuing education in his specialty.
Dr. Fryberg believes in supporting communities in need. He participated in dental service missions abroad as a dental student at USC. He is also passionate about fitness and cycled 4,100 miles across the United States as a part of a fundraiser in support of people with disabilities while in college.
Dr. Fryberg and his wife, Julie, are enjoying the Arizona sunshine. They like to travel and relax at the beach, and they are both passionate about health and fitness.
